The Honda CD 110 Dream DX is the most affordable, no-frills motorcycle in the company’s line-up in India.
The CD range traces its legacy to the Honda’s first mass motorcycle Dream D which was launched in Japan back in 1949. Features like a practical rear carrier, long seat, high ground clearance and well sprung suspension make this utilitarian bike popular among two-wheeler commuter buyers with a Rs 50,000 budget. The 2018 edition of Honda CD 110 Dream DX is priced from Rs 48,641 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
The cosmetic changes on the 2018 edition of Honda CD 110 Dream DX include new gold graphics and a chrome heat-shield on the exhaust. The 2018 Honda CD 110 Dream DX is available in five colour options including a new Black with Cabin Gold; Black with Green Metallic; Black with Grey Silver Metallic; Black with Red; and Black with Blue Metallic.
Commenting on the launch of the 2018 CD 110 Dream DX, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President – Sales and Marketing, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India, said, “The iconic CD brand has been winning the trust of millions of customers globally since 1966. Taking forward its legacy, 2018 CD 110 Dream DX offers the same level of trust and reliability. We are confident that the new edition too will garner good response from our customers especially when there are sentiments in rural demand.”
There aren’t any mechanical change as the commuter bike continues to sport a 110-cc single cylinder making 8.36 PS at 7,000 rpm and 8.63 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm in combination with a four-speed gearbox. During our earlier tests, the Honda CD 110 Dream managed to deliver a mileage of 72.5 km/l on an average and achieved a top speed of 86 km/h.
