We’ve heard of and seen many cars with 12 and even 16 cylinders.
However, while almost all of these are production models, putting engines of these sizes on motorcycles is something very few have witnessed. Many have tried installing large car engines in motorcycles and quite a few have managed to pull it off. However, a certain Mr. Simon Whitelock has done what few have even imagined, let alone thought possible – a massive 48-cylinder engine on a Kawasaki – built for the Triples Rally back in 2004.
