DSK Hyosung break sales records

DSK Hyosung adds another feather to its hat, with sales going past the cent-percent mark in the imported 250cc bike segment in India. Hyosung boasts of the Aquila 250 and the new GT 250R which combined, sold a total of 375 units between the period of July-August 2014, establishing their position in the market.

The Aquila 250, tagged as “The Real Cruiser” was among the first luxury cruisers to hit Indian roads and within the first month of its launch, the bike bagged approximately 275 bookings. Also, the improved GT 250R comes with sportier graphics, design, and three new colors, which helped boost sales.

Commenting on the milestone achieved, Chairman DSK Hyosung, Shirish Kulkarni stated “Growth in terms of sales have been phenomenal for the previous quarter. We have witnessed around a 80%-90% year-on-year growth and we are aiming to achieve a sales target of 300 bikes per month in the next quarter.”
