BMW Motorrad has officially launched the R nine T in India at Rs 23.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai). This masterpiece on two-wheels has more traditional Café Racer lines, mated to some of BMW’s finest technology. The R nine T features a 1,170cc Boxer engine, producing 110 PS and 118 Nm of peak torque. The R nine T which was first showcased at EICMA 2012 is based on BMW Motorrad’s iconic R32 motorcycle of the 1920s.

BMW Motorrad have also issued a statement regarding the customization options available as official accessories, which include a carbon-fibre mudguard, tank and saddle bags, not to mention the offerings available from third-parties like Akrapovic and Roland Sands Designs (RSD).

The R nine T cafe racer is on sale only at Navnit Motors, Mumbai, with just the two-tone black and silver colour option.
