There’s a new Platina ES in town. Sporting a new platform, the Platina ES is powered by a reworked 100cc DTS-i engine. The company claims that the new engine is a perfect blend of power and mileage, so much so that the new Platina ES is being claimed by Bajaj to be the world’s most fuel efficient 100cc motorcycle. The company claims the new motorcycle has broken all benchmarks on mileage, delivering an ARAI rated fuel efficiency of 96.6 km/l.

Apart from the new platform and engine, the Platina ES sports new front and rear suspension, alloy wheels, a new exhaust, refreshed headlamp design, new graphics, and electric start. The new Platina ES will be available in three colours, namely ebony black, electron blue, and candy red, and is priced at Rs 45, 431 (ex-showroom Mumbai).
