Indian 2-wheeler pioneers Bajaj have announced the arrival of a new and upgraded version of their city rider, the Discover 125. The new Discover sits on a set of redesigned alloys, and has a refreshed look which includes body graphics, a touched up headlamp unit and a few other visual tweaks.
The biggest change though is with the 125cc twin-spark DTS-i engine, which has been tuned up to produce 11.5 PS and 10.8 Nm of torque, which is near the top end of the spectrum of the 125cc bikes available in India. Bajaj claim that the increase in power hasn’t deterred the bike’s economy levels either. According to the manufacturers, the bike still offers mileage figures to the tune of 76 km/l. The new Discover will have a drum and disc brake option, with the former costing Rs 46,699 (ex-showroom Maharashtra), and the latter available for Rs 48,619 (ex-showroom Maharashtra).
The new Discover is available in six colour options – Electron Blue, Wine Red, Charcoal Magenta, Charcoal Green, Silver Blue, Silver Gold.
