What happens when one of the world’s best superbikes make its way into the hands of a rapper? Acclaimed French rap singer, Booba, in collaboration with Yamaha France have rolled out a special edition YZF-R1. The French singer has gone all out on this R1, with gold accents and Unkut decals sporting the body panels of the Japanese litre-class motorcycle. The stock silencers have been replaced by dual carbon Akrapovic cans while even the mirrors get that custom appeal. A nifty custom paint job rounds up the package, with a smoked-out snakeskin patter sporting mellow grey tones and golden pinstriping, Many R1 enthusiasts might not agree with this radical paint scheme but it surely does look like a million bucks.
The Unkut R1 has only been built as a sales promotion tool for the rapper’s eponymous cloth brand and will take to the streets of France soon.
