Since its launch, the KTM Duke 200 has ushered in quite a revolution in the performance bike scene in the country.
Hence, it comes as no big surprise that in the recently concluded ‘Indian Motorcycle Of The Year’ (IMOTY) award, the Duke was the clear winner right from the start for many of the jurors. The orange pocket rocket from the Austrian motorcycle marque’s stable is undoubtedly one the most exciting motorcycles in the country till date. In a gala event held at Mumbai, Dr. Raghupati Singhania, MD, JK Tyre & Industries Limited handed over the IMOTY trophy to Mr. Amit Nandi, VP Bajaj Auto ltd on behalf of the esteemed jury of ICOTY & IMOTY 2013.

The IMOTY award is the most credible and coveted award in the automotive calendar – few might put it as the ‘Oscar’ of Indian automotive awards. The award is aimed at recognizing focused, consistent, and rigorous efforts made by auto manufacturers, with the highest levels of performance in the areas of design excellence, innovation and R&D, and the awards have been gaining prominence with each passing year.
