MV Agusta F3 800

June 5, 2013 by Aninda Sardar Leave a Comment

Italian motorcycle marque MV Agusta are well known for sculpting some of the most jaw-dropping creations in the world of two-wheels. MV recently took the wraps off their latest masterpiece, the new MV Agusta F3 800. The Varese-based manufacturers were also keen on throwing some light upon the still unreleased MV Augusta Rivale. At the launch event, head honchos at MV stated that the new F3 motorcycle featured the same 798cc mill as the Brutale 800 street-fighter. The F3 also features MV’s famed MVICS electronics package, Brembo Monoblocs, electronically assisted shift (EAS), and a peppy 150PS motor mated to a slipper clutch.

This new F3 from the MV stable has been introduced as a direct competition to the Ducati 848 and the GSX-R750 in the European and the US markets. The core-essence of the development of this F3 model by MV technicians is largely due to their strategy of increasing their product line-up and bringing their race-legal bikes to the global markets.

While there are mixed reactions from two-wheel critics in aspect to MV utilising the same design and technical philosophies in their new models which include the F3 800, the Brutale 800 and the Rivale, every one agrees on the fact that this new model is one of the hottest looking motorcycles on the world market. What’s even more exciting is that MV are bang on target with their pricing strategy fr the F3 which is priced at €13,999 (INR 10.32 laks approx).
