New Ducati Monster Teased

Looks like a new Monster is set to take the world by storm. Earlier this month, Italian exotic bike manufacturer Ducati broke the news of a new offering from its Monster line. The motorcycle heavyweights took to Twitter to promote a new 1,200cc Monster which is in the pipeline.

Eagle-eyed Ducatista have already seen the company’s new teaser for this mystery bike, and it has been “caught testing” on more than one occasion already in and around Bologna. What’s even more exciting, is that the new Monster will feature Ducati’s Testastretta 11° engine, the 1198.4cc L-twin, making it a water-cooled street maniac from the Italians.

There haven’t been any significant changes though, and going from the teaser pictures, one can tell the 1200cc Monster’s lines are similar to those of its siblings. The Monster 1200 appears to sit a bit higher, and presumably would slot in approximately where the Streetfighter 1098 once resided. We just have one thing to say though – bring it on!
