DSK Hyosung’s Aquila Pro is a hit

March 12, 2013 by Aninda Sardar Leave a Comment

DSK Hyosung launched the 2013 model of its 650cc cruiser, the Aquila Pro on 16th January this year. The Aquila Pro shares its engine with Hyosung’s supersport bike, the GT 650R and has good handling in spite of the long wheelbase and a big rake angle. The muscular body lines and generous usage of chrome gives it the classic bad boy look of a cruiser but what really makes it a deal to grab is the Rs 5.57 lakh (on-road, Pune) price-tag.

And sure enough, the bike has received a strong response. DSK Hyosung has sold a stunning 145 Aquila Pro cruisers in less than two months after its launch! According to the company, it is not just the product and the pricing that has made them achieve this success. DSK Hyosung delivers the bike within three weeks from the date of booking and offers after sales services like financing, warranty, servicing, 24 x 7 road-side assistance and a few others that have won the hearts of their buyers.

The company’s managing director, Shirish Kulkarni, commented on this development by saying that “We were confident that this world class product will get an overwhelming response from the bike aficionados in India. We always had the first mover’s advantage in the 650 CC segment. The other thing which played to our advantage was the timely delivery of the bikes, they were delivered within three week from the time the bikes were booked. It’s a clear indication that brand Hyosung is being taken seriously in India and that’s very invigorating for us. We have certainly kept our promise to deliver quality products in India as we have the numbers to back our claims now. ”
